If I told you guys that Super Mario Advance (Super Mario Brothers 2) is tough. Or maybe platform games before it were too easy… But man, Mario Advance is tough. And I tell you, its hard.
Seriously.
Its not hard like, “o noes, itz ozma!!!111!!1,” but hard as in too much work and effort. Though to be fair, I am rather lazy. But I mean seriously, I have never had this much trouble with Mario game or a platform in general.
I’ve had the game for like two weeks and (mind you, I have finals coming up, and, you know, a life) and I am only on level 1-3 in Super Mario Bros. 2. My sister, the non-gamer, is on world 2-3. To be fair, she’s been playin’ it longer and harder than I have.
I may just have to turn that card in. Or have it may be suspended. 
Although in Super Mario Bros., I did manage to get to Phase 11.
I am probably just out of practice. RPGs have spoiled me rotten with their battle mechanics (and that’s gone out the window with some of the newer titles) and most action/adventure games get me to nerve-wracked to play.
In any case, I may just need a break from it. After all, I still haven’t beaten Chain of Memories yet. Oh, and Mario Kart: Super Circuit as well.
